House District 70

House District 70 is unique in that is it spans the southern part of two major cities - Auburn and Lewiston.  The residents of HD 70 have been lucky to have several dedicated and talented people serving them in the Legislature.  The seat is currently held by Representative Mark Samson who is vacating the position.  Sonya Sampson held the seat before him.  I make a commitment to serve with the same passion, integrity and professionalism as those who have served before me.

“Penthea Burns will work tirelessly to find lasting solutions to the difficult problems facing our community and state.  She will be responsive to the people she serves, honor their needs and represent their concerns in the legislative process.”
