Penthea Burns is a lifelong Mainer who wants to protect Maine's way of life and Maine's natural resources. Penthea has devoted her life to helping Maine people. Over her career working with disadvantaged youth and families, she has learned that while it is important to have reliable facts and data to understand the scope of any problem, we need to hear from those directly affected. It deepens our understanding of problems and often points to common sense solutions. She believes that this is our representative form of government.
